Albatross Hotel - Maleme (Crete)

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that we felt welcome throughout our entire stay. The hotel facilities were great, including a great pool and clean, comfortable rooms with beautiful views. the hotel's location near Maleme beach was perfect, great to easily access the beach and enjoy the coastal scenery.

Not obvious to find.

The hotel was a great value for the money. The family run operation gives it a great homey feel and the elevator was welcomes with our bags. It was conveniently located in town with a short 5 min walk to the beach.

The mattress was a little thin, not the most comfortable, but fine for 1 night. The TV was small with limited reception (but who needs tv on vacation anyways.)

The food here was deliciuos! Location met standard.

The location of the hotel was ideal, situated in a quiet area but still close to bars, restaurants, and a supermarket. The friendly staff made us feel welcomed and the food at the restaurant was excellent. We also enjoyed the pool and our clean room.

The soundproofing was not ideal as we could hear people in the corridor and flushing toilets. , although the breakfast was good for the price, there could have been more fruit options available.

I thought the hotel was exellent the rooms clean and the staff nice people ..l would go there again .

The owners and their family were wonderfull hosts and we had a fantastic holiday. We nearly ate every evening at the hotel, there was great choice on the menu and the specialities of the house were just perfect. We got some great tips from Dora for our trips round the island. During my Christmas holiday in this hotel, I appreciated the comfortable rooms and the delicious food served at the restaurant. the staff was also very friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. the hotel was located in a convenient area, close to many restaurants and bars, as well as a good sized supermarket where we could buy snacks and drinks.

although the sound proofing was quite good, we could still hear noises from the corridor and the street, particularly when flushing the toilet.

It was wonderful, super, brilliant :) Everything was perfect. The owner family was really nice people. Piece and quite.

The breakfast was not so vatietable, but it was good in the morning.

We spent an absolutely stunning week there! The staff's hospitality is really beyond any imagination. Very helpful and nice people. Mama's cooking is fantastic, we tried all of her dishes, none of them let us down. The rooms are tidy and clean, the bed is comfortable. You can barely hear noises from the street (we had a room looking towards the street). Maleme is a perfect base to discover western Crete if you rent a car. We would choose them again!

The breakfast menu is a bit short, although it is good. Everything else is just perfect.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the beach and near Maleme beach, offering easy access to sun and sea. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with almost new furniture and well-equipped bathrooms. the staff is friendly and caring, ensuring a pleasant stay. the breakfast may not offer an extensive fruit selection, but the quality of the products is good. the hotel features a deep pool, perfect for a refreshing swim.

Some noise from vehicles can be heard in certain rooms, affecting the overall tranquility of the stay.

Such a friendly hotel with personalized service. Nicely situated in the centre of Maleme and not far away from the beach. The personnel was very helpful and friendly. Due to its small size one gets to know all the guests. Unfortunately I only tasted mama's delicious cooking once, because I had a friend staying in another hotel with her kids. Next time I will certainly taste more of mama's cooking. Efkaristo Dora and family for making my stay at your hotel such a nice experience :)

Excellent value for money. Family run and a fantastic atmosphere. Very helpful people and the food at the hotel is fantastic home cooking of the best quality second to none.
